MP TET 2025: The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MP ESB) will soon release the notification for the Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) examination. The MPTET notification 2025 will be released at esb.mp.gov.in. The MP TET application form 2025 will be released along with the notification. The ESB will also provide the facility of TET form correction to allow candidates to make changes to the already filled form. The MP TET exam is conducted at various levels, such as Primary School TET for Classes 1 to 5, Middle School TET for Classes 6 to 8 and Higher School TET for Classes 9 to 12. What is MP TET?

Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) exam is conducted to certify candidates for appointment as primary, middle and high school teacher in Madhya Pradesh schools. Here are the separate TET exams as per the level:

  • MP Primary School (PSTET) exam for Classes 1 to 5
  • Middle School (MSTET) is for Classes 6 to 8
  • High School (HSTET) is for Classes 9 to 12

Q:   How many papers does one need to give to qualify the MP TET exam?
A: 

Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to qualify MP TET Paper 1. Candidates planning to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to qualify for MP TET Paper 2. Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to qualify both papers. The candidates have to apply for the papers according to their eligibility set by the board. The educational qualification criteria has been given below for the candidates:

  • Paper 1 
    • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
    • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd)
  • Paper 2
    • Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd
Q:   Is there any age criteria to apply for the MP TET exam?

Candidates should be minimum of 18 of age to be eligible to apply for the MP TET exam. There is no upper age limit for the MP TET exam.

Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) is an eligibility exam conducted to make candidates eligible to apply for teaching jobs in the state. Q:   How to get a job after qualifying for MP TET?

After qualifying the MP TET exam, the candidates are awarded with the eligibility Certificate. MP TET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the MP TET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting teachers in the schools of Madhya Pradesh. The candidates can apply for the different vacancies according to their eligibility. The Madhya Pradesh government releases the vacancies for the teachers according to the needs of the state.

Yes, the MP TET exam is held on a single day in two shifts for Paper 1 and 2

The basic eligibility for the MP TET exam is share below-

  • Class 12 with at least 50 per cent aggregate with a two-year diploma in elementary education OR BElEd OR diploma in Special Education.
  • Graduation and possess a B.Ed degree with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate.

MP TET Exam Pattern 2025

The MP TET exam pattern 2025 lays down the structure of the examination. The pattern makes the candidates aware of the mode of the conduct of the exam, the format of questions, number of questions, exam duration and the marking scheme. As per the MP TET exam pattern, a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in the exam for one mark each. The exam will be conducted online. Candidates need to mark the answers on the computer. There is no negative marking in the exam for wrong answers or unattempted questions. The MP TET syllabus 2025 is prescribed by the PEB for Primary, Middle and High School levels. The syllabus differs for all three levels.
