Nalbari Polytechnic College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

After 10th DiplomaCandidates must have passed H.S.L.C./10th or its equivalent examination in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects (Without grace marks in Maths and Science and also have to pass indivisually in both Theory and Practical/ Internal assessment) with average 40% marks in Mathematics and Science for General/ OBC/ MOBC category (35% marks for SC and 33% marks for ST category) from a recognised board/institute.
The maximum age limit is 20 years 6 months for UR/OBC/MOBC as on 31-12-2023 and for 23 years 6 months for SC/ST as on 31-12-2023.
Candidates must be a Permanent resident of Assam.
