There is an entrance exam to get admission in NIFT you need to pass that to get admission.

Join the course, improve your skills and ten you will be in good position as a designer, and guarantee from NIFT, Bengaluru.

You can opt any subject you want because for NIFT entrance you need GK, English, Maths (till class 10) and Logic Reasoning. So your class 11 & 12 stream won't matter.
