NET Preparation

As stated by the CBSE:
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC (on the website: https://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/consolidatedlistofalluniversities.Pdf) in humanities (including languages) and social science, computer science and applications, electronic sciencE, etc. (list of subjects of post-graduation attached at page No. 20) are eligible for this test.
The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/scheduled caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

As you have completed your Masters in Organic Chemistry, I will suggest you to go with CSIR NET Chemical Science subject. The basic objective is to determine eligibility for college & university level lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education holds National Eligibility Test NET for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

In order to notch up the top scores in UGC NET Exam for Education, you should first focus on qualifying the General Aptitude Paper (Paper-1) which is common for all the subjects. General Aptitude Section can benefit you with total 100 marks so don't take this section lightly. For a systematic approach to cover up this section -
1. You can list up all the Important Topics for Aptitude Section and start preparing by taking all the topics one by one.
2. It is better to create quick notes containing the short tricks and formulas to solve QA questions so that you can revise them faster.
3. Using shortcuts while solving the questions is the smartest way to attempt maximum questions in minimum time.
4. Spend max 2 hours a day on QA section and save 30 minutes to revise the studied data. To score well in Paper-II and Paper-III of Education, it is not necessary that you cover all the topics for such vast UGC NET Syllabus. Just go through the Previous Years Question Papers of UGC NET Education, to have an idea about the important topics that come in the question paper every year. This way you'll have a list of all the topics that you need to cover in Education paper. Now, take each topic one by one and study them in-depth so that even if you are not covering others topic from the syllabus, you can score enough with these topics only. Keep your fundamentals and concepts clear regarding the particular Education topics. It is better to invest on some good UGC NET Books and Study Material to get yourself very well prepared for the exam.
