Candidates should follow a balanced approach. No doubt books help in conceptual clarity, and a candidate can study in detail. On the other hand, online platforms provide lectures through video, have updated notes, cover current affairs as well, etc. It also depends upon the candidate's feasibility and which method he or she is comfortable with for the preparation. Both books and online resources have their own importance. So, a balanced approach may benefit in the preparation.

The difficulty level of this paper varies from Medium to high medium, so most of the students prefer to prepare for paper 1 first. The two main sections of this paper are:
1. Teaching Aptitude
2. Research Aptitude

Yes, Definitely. NET basically tests your subject knowledge and if you have read well during your college, it won't be that difficult for you. It also depends on your subject. I had commerce and most of the preparation for NET was from Graduation books. Hence, I could qualify it in the first attempt itself. One more positive aspect is that the exam cycle for both the exams is different which can be taken advantage of. NET is a one time thing. Strategy-
