You can apply for UGC NET, if you have scored more than 55% marks in the final exams. There are 5% reservation for the reserved category candidates. The candidates need to fulfill the age limit criteria if applying for the NET JRF. There is no age limit for the lectureship. If you have score the required percentage, then you can apply for the exam. All the best.

Hello Subhajit, You need to check whether the university is UGC/ government approved or not? The candidates who have completed post-graduation from recognised university are allowed to apply for the exam. You can find the list of the approved universities and name of the fake universities at the official UGC Website. The candidates of distance learning are also eligible to apply for the exam. Also the candidates can choose the subject of their post-graduation to apply for UGC NET or its related subjects only.

Hello Chanchal, Yes, you can apply for UGC NET 2019 Exam. As the minimum qualification to apply for NET is post-graduation degree and you have completed it. There is no age limit criteria for NET lectureship. But, for UGC NET JRF your age must be below 30 years old. The candidates are allowed to apply for their post-graduation subject only. As you have completed M.Com you can apply for UGC NET commerce or UGC NET economics.

Those students who completed the Masters or Post graduation in a particular subject, there are some eligibility criteria. You need 55% marks in the post-graduation to appear in the National Eligibility test. Whereas, the candidates from the reserved category needs 50% marks. There is no age limit to appear in the National Eligibility test, but to avail the JRF Fellowship, the age limit is 30 years (35 years for the Female and Reserved category candidates.)

The previous year papers and mock test is good practice to be familiar with the exam pattern and to know the difficulty level of the exam. So keep practicing and be confident.

Hello,
Yes, you can apply for the National Eligibility Test.
Here are some of the eligibility criteria before appearing in the National Eligibility Test which you must follow:
The university and college by which you have completed Master's degree must be a recognised university by UGC or it must be UGC approved. There is no age related criteria or limit in the UGC NET exam for lectureship posts.
You must complete Masters or post graduation with at least 55 % marks (50% marks for female and reserved category candidates).

Hello Praveen,
The UGC NET Exam is conducted for the determination of the candidates for assistant professor posts in university and for junior research fellowship award in research. It is a national level exam for which you must have the deep knowledge of the subject. You can find the previous year papers at the official website of NTA. Yes, you can choose the home science in the NET exam. The UGC NET exam caters more than 90 subjects. It is a national level exam conducted for the determination of candidates for assistant professor posts in the university or colleges and for junior research fellowship award in research. Hello, No you are not eligible for the NET exam. For more details you must check the eligibility criteria.A good score in NET will make you eligible for teaching jobs in universities.
