NIELIT Calicut - National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT)  is an autonomous body of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. It was made to provide knowledge and skill development in the field on Information, Electronics and Communications Technology among students. Both Nielit Patna and Nielit Shillong provides quality educational courses to its students at very affordable cost. Nielit Patna promotes more than 10 courses in IT and software stream at affordable fees and give good placement. However, Nielit Shillong offers long-term, short-term certificate, and other courses to students across the Hardware, Networking & Maintenance, and various other streams. However, the fees of both NIELIT centres are very much the same. For example, The CCC course at Nielit Shillong cost around Rs. 5,295 and the same course at Nielit Patna cost around Rs. 4,555.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Shillong  is one of the centres of NIELIT institutions. Nielit Shillong, located in Meghalaya offers long-term, short-term certificate, and other courses to students. The long-term course offered by the college is LTC-1: 'O' Level in IT (Software). The short-term courses offered by the college are ECC (Expert Computer Course), ACC (Awareness in Computer Concepts), BCC (Basic Computer Course), CCC (Course on Computer Concepts), PC Hardware, Networking & Maintenance, Certificate course in Computerised Accounting with Tally, Certificate course in Office Automation and Soft Skills, and others. However, the placement records of NIELIT Shillong are yet to be announced in their official website.

However, 27% of the students placed by Information Technology sector during NIELIT Patna past years placements followed by other sectors.
