NIELIT Chandigarh: Courses, Fees, Admission 2025, Placements, Cutoff

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Chandigarh works under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. NIELIT has released its Scientist B Recruitment eligibility criteria for NIELIT section-B post. The criteria specifies the following terms:

*Maximum age limit: 30 years

*Nationality: Indian

*Educational qualification: The candidate should have completed B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ MCA from a Government recognised university in the required branches.

*Registration is a pre-requistic criteria.

*Work Experience: Not required

*There are upper age limits for various sections of society.

For admission in long term courses at NIELIT, Chandigarh, candidates must appear in the entrance examination. Generally, NIELIT entrance examination happens every year in the last week in the month of june every year. For admission in all Non formal courses like O Level, A Level, B Level and C Level of any branch, entrance exam is mandatory. As DOEACC O Level course, is a long term course and it is of O Level, the applicant must give the entrance examination. Thus, you can not get direct admission to DOEACC O Level course at NIELIT, Chandigarh. 

For transfer of registration, the candidate has to fill the online registration form duly completed indicating the current registration number and level along with all supporting documents and requisite fee.
