There are around 15000 seats in NITs in India. Considering the past years' data, you need to get at least 130 marks to get into one of them (It's not necessary by the way, but desirable!). Good Luck!

Please tell me the score you secured in JEE Mains. If you scored more than 74, then you are qualified, otherwise not. Now, second thing is that if you score more than 120 or 130, then you nay get the NIT, Otherwise, you may get other government colleges.

Hello Lokesh,
I would say, focus on your B.Tech preparation. From third year onwards, you can prepare for CAT better try to get into IIMs.
