Only you need to clear the minimum eligibility for colleges. Mostly, it is 75% for general and around 65% for rest category students (for NITs and rest central government colleges). It may be less for autonomous colleges and private universities, but not more than. Best of luck.

Congratulations!
Let's come to question since you have done good in JEE Mains but even though you are lacking. I guess you could't GET good NIT but keep on trying. You might GET it. One thing I would to suggest you that keep yourself motivating and work hard for other exams because I guess you could do better in other exams so focus and do good.

NIT Warangal is an option for you. But we cannot guarantee you an NIT seat with 4297 but you will get enough opportunities with other good campuses.

Obviously, IIIT Hyderabad is the best even better than many IITs as it is focused primarily on Computer Science and IT field. It has very high graduation outcomes. Then comes IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur and then other old IITs then top NITs and other IITs then all other NITs.
Thank you.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Hope you are doing well. NITK considers category ranking for cutoff marks. For General, the ranking lies between 400 to 1450.
For OBC category, ranking lies between 450 to 1543.
For SC category, ranking lies between 45 to 650.
These all are the home state board ranking criteria. Other states students' criteria may vary.
