Hi Devansh, there is a wide range of hostels having fee from Rs 1.8 lakh per annum to 5 lakh per annum. It depends on the availability of the bed.

NMIMS School of Law is not yet known for placements as it is new in this field. UPES, Dehradun is an established university. Both are worth opting. I would suggest you to choose from the perspective of the suitability of location.

NMIMS is known for its MBA and is growing in the field of law as well. UPES is a great university for law, but I would go with NMIMS if talked about corporate sector.

Be assured, no exam is difficult to crack. What only matters is how sincerely one is preparing for the exam, be it NPAT or 10th/ 12th. Hard work and sincere preparations will make you feel that any exam is very simple and easy.

The merit list number doesn't matter if your status is selected. Even if your number is 1100 and status is selected, your seat is reserved the day you deposit the fees. No matter what, once the fees are paid, you are officially a NMIMS student till you decide to withdraw.
