It doesn't matter, if you have gap between educations during the time of admission. Score high and take admission. It matters during the time of placement. Fact is that you have to explain the valid reasons of 2 year Gap.

If you are practicing in the medical field for 15 year, you can go for Masters or PG Diploma program in hospital administration or hospital management.

Part-time MBA for working professional is available in certain institutes so that those who want to earn PG degrees can actually complete it in the normal course.

NMIMS is one of the most reputed institute in India. Yes, it has attendance criteria but it offers you real return in terms of quality education. So, you can go ahead in MBA in Finance.

Don't get confused. Maths is required for getting admitted in NMIMS Mumbai. NPAT entrance test is required for getting into BBA B.Com Economics (H) and BBA LL.B. * I know this because even I was NOT able to give exam as I didn't have Maths in 12th. * So, have Maths either as additional subject (6th) or optional subject (5th). No, I don't think it's a good choice to do PGDM from an institute. PGDM is not a good choice because PGD is just a Diploma, not a degree and if you are doing post-graduation then you should do proper MBA degree from a university.
