At NIU, an integral part of the career development programme is placement, which is undertaken by the Corporate Resource Center and Placement Cell (CRCP). The CRCP prepares the students for a successful future and not merely a job.
The placement process is manifold. It includes personality development, gap identification, mock interview, pre- placement counseling, CV formation, and live projects and internships. During their academic tenure the students go through a well planned rigorous course curriculum along with real life practical trainings and internships in reputed research institutes and/or corporate houses.
The academic curriculum is so structured that it requires the students to undergo a mandatory summer internship of 6-8 weeks with reputed organizations. The internship helps the students to apply their classroom learning of theoretical concepts to real life management settings. This process enables to sharpen their ability to diagnose, analyze and resolve problems. The option of short term live projects with leading companies is also provided to the students. This runs parallel to their academic sessions and gives them valuable insight into the workings of the industry.

If you have only these two options to pursue Masters in journalism and mass communication course then I would like to vote for Institute of Management Studies, Noida because today, employer seems to be very interested in those candidates who are stone with the graduation from the regular mode. This makes me also to say that getting admission in an open university is not going to help you in the long run. Hence doing regular course from IMS is good. Doing MJMC course from IMS, Noida (affiliated to Chaudhry Charan Singh University, Meerut) helps you to get wider chances to get placed at very good profile in a good company. You can work as a Public Relations officer, Communication executive, social media executive, teacher-lecture, Communication manager, etc. After that you can also work as a research assistant by doing PhD in this field.

Hello, Although both the colleges are not good for BJMC courses.
But still, if you have only these two options to join then you may go with Institute of Management Studies-Noida. The reason for my saying this is lack of quality infrastructure and other resources for students academic welfare.
However, if you are bound to join IMS-Noida (due to no other options), then be prepared to stand on your own legs. The college is affiliated with a low graded state university (I.e., Chaudhry Charan Singh University-Meerut). You have to write a lot (I mean very long answers) to gain marks and pass the semester exams. But if you try hard then definitely you will succeed in BJMC. When we talk about the placement, its fine. If you have some sufficient industrial exposure with some big employer, and having something extra which can give an extra edge over other students, surely you will be well placed.

I would not advise you to go for Institute of Management Studies, Noida. My suggestion will depends upon what other options you do have. If you are not getting admission is any college for BJMC, then you may take admission in IMS, Noida. The reason why I am saying this is its affiliation, infrastructure and Placement. This college is affiliated with a low graded state university of Uttar Pradesh i.e., Chaudhry Charan Singh University, Meerut. This is not the good University, course curriculum is very old. Second reason is its infrastructure. Although, it is located at very good location, connectivity is good. Surrounding area is also good. But, the internal structure of the college is worst. Canteen is bad. No cleanliness at all. And, the third thing is it's placement. You cannot get the good placement opportunity here. Because, this college is not much famous for this BJMC course. They are only specialized in management course (BBA, PGDM). So, try to find out any other college.
