The University was also awarded “Best Private University for Strong Industry Interaction in Central India” in India International Education Excellence Awards 2023. According to the NIRF 2023 report, Oriental University placements in 2022 resulted in the placement of 108 undergraduate (UG) students and 106 postgraduate (PG) students. Both BTech and M.Tech students were offered a median package of INR 3 LPA. The median package for LLB and BA LLB courses in the field of Law was INR 3.50

Oriental University provides Merit based admission in its B.Ed Course. The candidate must have passed UG or PG in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for General and OBC, and 45% aggregate marks for SC and ST.
For candidates, who graduated with BTech/B.E or any other equivalent degree with Science and Maths, the minimum passing aggregate should be 55% for General and OBC and 50% for SC and ST.
The candidate need to register themselves on the online admission portal, for them to be considered for admission.
