A part of this group, Marwadi University was found in 2016 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act 9 of 2016. This university in Rajkot is accredited with NAAC A+ Grade (3.51/4). NAAC is an autonomous body which is active under the University Grants Commission (UGC).

To seek admission in BSC one has to be Indian origin he or she has to get diploma engineering ( 3yrs) program equivalent to 10+2 grade from the state education department.
