To apply for VELS University BTech, students must be eligible. The eligibility is to have valid scores in last qualifying exams. Students must pass Class 12 in relevant subjects with 45% aggregate from a recognised board.

To be eligible for admission in BTech at CGC University, Mohali, candidates need minimum 60% aggregate (55% for reserved categories) in :

  • Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/ Information Technology / Biology/Information Practices/Biotechnology/ technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies.
  • Three years Diploma exam or any such exam from recognised state board of Technical Education or Sant Longowal Institute of Engg.
  • Two years Certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Longowal.

ICFAI Hyderabad offers a dedicated direct entry pathway into its BTech program. Lateral entry applicants must hold a valid technical Diploma in engineering. They need a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their diploma. Candidates awaiting final Diploma results are also eligible to apply.
