Yes. Galgotias University accepts JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions, and students with a JEE Main score are given preference in the merit list. The exact Class 12 eligibility depends on the B.Tech branch.

MIT Chennai offers scholarship to BC/MBC, SC/ST & SCC Students. Check below eligibility to avail the scholarship:

  • Income certificate from Tashildar office is must.
  • Parental Annual Income should be below INR 2.5 Lacs for BC/MBC & SC/ST
  • Parental Annual Income for SCC Students should be below INR 2 lakh.
  • For 1st Graduate student, submission of 1st Graduate Certificate from Tashildar is essential.

The eligibility to apply for BTech at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is to pass Class 12 from any recognised board or equivalent with minimum 65% aggregate marks for GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL candidates, whereas 60% aggregate marks in case of SC / ST / PwD candidates. The aggregate marks should be calculated with Physics and Math as mandatory subject and Chemistry, Biology, Language and other subjects as per the respective examination board scheme.

Students pursuing BTech and belong to SC/ ST category can apply for SC/ ST scholarship. Students are selected based on JEE for the first BTech semesters and last CGPA obtained by student in all other semesters. The students are required to maintain a CGPA of 6.0 or above in other semesters and should have no 'F' grade in previous regular semesters. The parental income should not exceed INR 4.5 lakh. Selected aspirants get free food and boarding as well as an allowance of INR 250 per month.
