B.Tech Eligibility

The students who want admission into BTech course at UPES School of Advance Engineering must fuflil the minimum eligibility criteria. They must have atleast 50% marks in class 10th and 12th exams. Students must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects. Either of the exams needs to be cleared; JEE Mains, UPESEAT, SAT, CUET-UG. 

Gautam Buddha University provides BTech programs requiring students to have passed 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus Chemistry, Biotechnology, technical vocational subject. Minimum of 45% marks & 40% for SC/ST is required in these subjects combined. Admission is based on Gautam Buddha University Entrance Test or JEE Main scores.

NIT Surathkal BTech admissions are offered on an entrance basis. The institute accepts only those who clear the admission criteria given below:

Eligibility - Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects + Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects/ Biology as one of the subjects + a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates)

Selection Process - JEE Mains + JoSAA/ CSAB

Candidates wanting to get a seat in BTech at JUIT Solan should meet its eligibility criteria. The students who are Class 12 pass with at least 60% aggregate in relevant subjects can apply. There is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate for SC/ ST category candidates. The students are advised to keep the documents handy as well during admission.

The eligibility criteria for admission to Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Hyderabad for BTech in CSE are: - Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects. - Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). - Good scores in JEE (Main), State Government Engineering Entrance Exams, or 12th PMC/V.

NBN Singhad School of Engineering B.Tech admission is entrance based with the institute accepting JEE Main scores for the same. For admission into the same, the candidate must contact the admissions office immediately after release of JEE Main results.

VVIT University BTech admission criteria is as below:

• Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ ST) from a recognised board
• VVIT University Admission Test 2026 or
• 60 percentile and above in JEE Main or
• Valid rank in State Government recognised entrance test for Engineering

You must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised board.

Physics and Mathematics should be compulsory subjects in your 10+2.

You should have also studied one of the following additional subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Computer Science (IT).

Minimum aggregate of around 50% marks in these subjects in 10+2 is required (some sources also mention slightly higher like 55% depending upon the specialization/seat category).

Admission to the course may be based on entrance exams, such as the university's Q-CARE exam, JEE Main, or state-level engineering entrance exams, with preference to those with valid scores.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam offers BTech across several specialisations. The duration for BTech at IIIT Kottayam is 2 years. The eligibility for BTech courses at IIIT Kottayam is Class 12 with at least 75% and a valid score in JEE Main or DASA UG.
