In order to join B.Tech via lateral entry, you need to get a Diploma first then on the basis of your score, you can get admission in this college. For more information, please visit the college website:

As far as I know, PES does not offer admission without the entrance exam. You can contact the college authorities for further details. Also, visit the college website:

Both are really good colleges and well known ones in Bangalore. But personally, I can say that MSR will be having good exposure and more opportunities to explore. This is through the experience. So, yes, I hope you make a right choice.

As per the records, RV has a higher rank than PES. But, as far as I know, the placement for CS branch is almost equivalent for both the colleges. You can decide on the basis of other factors like fee, infrastructure, etc.
