Yes, there is an option of lateral entry in the second year after Diploma.

As per the records, RV has a higher rank than PES. But, as far as I know, the placement for CS branch is almost equivalent for both the colleges. You can decide on the basis of other factors like fee, infrastructure, etc.

July 11- Last date for surrendering of PESSAT seat
July 15- Second Round of B.Tech Counseling

You are eligible to study in PES University because you have given PESSAT. But admission depends on your score.

If you appear for PESSAT and get good marks, then you are eligible for the scholarship. Without PESSAT, you can take admission through management quota. But PES University is one of the best universities so hurry up for admission, otherwise you will lose a chance to get admission or will have to pay a higher amount for admission.
