Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology both study medicine, but they do different things. Pharmacognosy look at natural stuff and what help people, but Pharmacology study all medicine, even man-made, and how they work in body.

They are different part of pharmacy. Pharmacognosy is only about nature medicine, Pharmacology is about all medicine and what happen in body.

Pharmacognosy is a part of pharmacy that study medicine. Pharmacy is bigger and cover many things about making and using medicine.

Pharmacognosy look at plants, tiny bugs and also sea animals to find useful stuff. 

Future of Pharmacognosy looks bright and have many things:

• Plants, sea animals and even tiny bugs from nature help find new medicine.

• Make medicine personalised for one person.

• Many old medicines come from nature and still useful.

Pharmacognosy is study medicine from nature, how to find them and also what they do. You learn it more in BPharm or pharmacy courses, not much in MBBS.

But in MBBS some small part of Pharmacology may teach about herbal medicine or natural products.

In India, people usually study Pharmacognosy in BPharm, which is 4 years degree in Pharmacy.

After BPharm, you can study more in Pharmacognosy in MPharm or do research, which take 2 years.

Pharmacognosy is a part of science that study medicine from nature. It look at plants, animals, tiny bugs and also minerals to find stuff that can help sick people.
One learns what chemicals and things in nature do and how they can be use in medicine.

BSc Radiology and Imaging Technology is better for direct and high paying hospital jobs (INR 5–10 LPA) with faster career entry but BPharma offers more diverse and stable roles in manufacturing, sales or even retail pharmacy (INR 2–5 LPA).

You should choose Radiology for tech or diagnostic work and BPharmacy for chemistry/medicine sales.
