Yes you can go for B Pharm after Class 12 with PCB subjects.

Many universities or colleges may select candidates who have taken Science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology or included Mathematics in their Class 12 studies.

But some colleges may also accept candidates from non medical backgrounds for their B Pharm programs. Again it all then depends on types of colleges.

Yeah, some colleges might include basic Math or pharmacy-related calculations in B Pharma.

Mostly, B Pharma focuses on pharma subjects—like chemistry, biology, pharmacology, drug-making, and pharmacy practice. How much math you need can change depending on the college or university you go to.

Yes… so pharmacists can't just open their own clinics. In India, only MBBS doctors get that right. Pharmacists can run a chemist shop and give out meds, but actually treating patients in a clinic? Nope, that's off-limits.

Even if you know a ton about medicines, without an MBBS, you can't prescribe or run a clinic. You can sell meds once your shop license is sorted, but only as per doctors' prescriptions. And heads up - some chemists suggest stuff for minor issues, but technically that's illegal and can get them in real trouble.

Getting into MBBS is way tougher than B Pharma. MBBS takes 5–6 years of crazy hard work before you can officially call yourself a doctor—it's super prestigious and respected.

B Pharma, on the other hand, is kind of simpler. You learn about medicines and usually end up working in pharmacies, and sometimes even run your own chemist shop. Both paths are solid—it just depends on how much grind you're ready to put in.
