As per the Jaipur National University admission guidelines, DPharm admission is based on candidates' performance in the last qualifying examination, scores of the JNU CET entrance test and followed by a personal interview. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility norms for qualification of the DPharm course. The minimum qualification is Class 12 with 45% aggregate in the PCM/ PCB stream. Therefore, direct admission to the DPharm course is not valid at JNU, Jaipur.

According to the information provided on the University's official website, for admission to the DPharm course at Jaipur National University, candidates should be Class 12 passed with PCB/PCM subjects and have secured at least an aggregate of 45%. Next, the students have to appear for an in-house university entrance examination i.e., JNU CET. Further, candidates who qualify for the entrance examination with good scores can get a seat in the university. However, admission without entrance and with management quota is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the university.

Yes, you can say that it is slightly tough to get admission in Jaipur National University as JNU Rajasthan conducts an exam called JNU CET, i.e. Jaipur national university cum entrance test with an interview following the exam. University only offers only 60 seats in the programme. Therefore, for securing a seat in the programme, candidates have to work hard.

In the scenario, if two or more aspirants for the BPharm course at JNU Rajasthan secure the same marks/ranks in the entrance examination, the university follows some rules for allocating the seat to deserving candidates, rules are:

  • The candidate,  who has secured a higher percentage of marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination will be given preference.
  • Candidates who perform well in the merit, university will consider that student.
  • If the marks secured in Class 12 or equivalent examination are the same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who has secured a higher percentage of mark
