R.N.S. Institute of Technology Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme at RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) require applicants to have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as academic subjects, along with one of the optional subjects: Bio-Technology, Chemistry, or Biology. Additionally, candidates must have passed the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the COMED-K admission examination to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programme at RNSIT

The eligibility criteria includes the following:

1. An undergraduate degree from any recognised university/ college with at least 50% aggregate
2. Candidate needs to appear for KMAT exam which is open for all the students
3. VTU will shortlist candidates based on the qualifying exam scores.
4. Another way is through managament quota

Actually, before the NEP (new education policy) there was no such option available. However now it could be possible. If you are doing diploma, you can apply for B.Tech And you can also pursue minor in certain subjects and take degree along with the existing one.
