Decent college with good faculty.
Placements: The placements are decent. The highest package till date is 56 Lacs. The highest package for batch 2024 is 46 Lacs. They provide training for placements from the 3rd year. The placements are only for the 4th year. Computer science and engineering have good placements.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are acceptable. Labs are okayish. Hostel is bad. Food at the hostel is incredible. They give the same food every day. Taste is not good. They don't let you play sports. Hostel is four-sharing. They provide only 1 shelf per person. Warden is very strict.
Faculty: Exams are okay. Teachers do a fair job at evaluating them. The circullum is fairly relevant. The semester exams are fairly easy. Pass percentage is around 70 percent. They organize other activities to help students be industry-ready. The faculty is fairly qualified.

About RNSIT, civil engineering department - Batch of 2027.
Placements: Placement of our branch is happening 70%, and it is increasing every year. The average package is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Regarding the internship, our civil department is giving very good offers. I was selected for the IISc internship, and I am getting a good amount. I am very thankful to the civil engineering department and faculty members for giving me this opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is well established. Sufficient space and buildings are available. We are all lucky to have all the facilities in our campus, especially the main auditorium, mini auditorium, centralized library, gym space, indoor sports yard, and outdoor grounds for cricket, football, and other games.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are approachable and knowledgeable. They are said to have good command of the subject and academics. In our department, teachers are doing mentorship and monitoring students' progress, helping with clarifications, extra doubts, etc. Maximum faculty have PhDs and good experience. In our department workshop, industrial visit, technical talk, and many more happen regularly.
Other: Campus events and fests like cultural, sports, and technical events are happening. The crowd is a mixture of friendly, diverse students mostly from Karnataka and other parts of India.

College review of RNS institute of technology.
Placements: Placement is not good for the ECE branch compared to the CS branch. The faculty give first preference to CSE branch students and then ECE students. The highest package for CS students is 13-17 LPA, and the lowest is 2-4 LPA. Only 50-60% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is not good; the rooms are small. The food is entirely Bangalore food, which will not suit students from South Karnataka. They do not prepare any special food for students from outside Karnataka. The food is the same for everyone. The rooms are not very big.
Faculty: The college strictly follows VTU rules because our college is a VTU college. They follow the VTU schedule. The exams and internals are conducted as per the VTU guidelines. The main exam paper comes from VTU only; they do not prepare the exam paper.
Other: I got this course through CET, and the college is good, but the placement is not that good. The lectures are good.
