The eligibility criteria for getting admission in RVCE is Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the respective subjects from a recognised board.
The score cards of following examination are accepted for giving admission
CET, COMEDK, JEE Main, KEA.
You cannot get admission directly without appearing in any of these exam

To get admission into MTech, MCA and BTech courses at RV College of Engineering, candidates are required to qualify for the basic eligibility criteria first scrutinized by the college. Additionally, candidates must have secured a valid score in these entrance examinations, Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), KOMEDK UGET and JEE Main.
Further, candidates must participate in the counseling process based on their entrance exam rank, and choose RVCE during the counseling session. Lastly, candidates can complete the admission formalities as per the college's guidelines.

Yes, RV College of Engineering accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its BTech courses. To be eligible candidates must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with 50% aggreagte in a relevant discipline from a recognised board. Candidates must apply and appear for the JEE Main score and score good aggregate to apply for admission. Further, candidates can also get admission to BTech at RV College of Engineering if they have one entrance exam score, such as CET, COMEDK and KEA.

With a 18600 rank in KCET 2024, getting CSE at RVCE Bengaluru might be difficult as it has excessive cutoffs. But don't lose desire! You can try for other top colleges in Bengaluru or Mysore like BMS College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, or PES University. Check their last yr's cutoffs, as it could come up with a better idea. Always have some backup options simply in case!
