Ministry of Railways releases RPF SI exam cities along with the notification. The examination authority distributes exam centre division-wise under certain groups. There are total six groups (A, B, C, D, E, and F). Under these groups, the railway zones are allotted. If a candidate has applied on any of these railway zones, then they will be allotted to RPF SI exam centre that comes under that particular region. Candidates can select the exam centres while filling the application form. RPF SI exam is conducted by the Ministry of Railways to select eligible male and female candidates for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Level 6 of 7th CPC in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Forces (RPSF) in various zones of Indian Railways. The Ministry of Railways prescribes the RPF SI exam pattern for Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT). RPF SI exam pattern 2024 for CBT is such that it is divided into three sections- General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & reasoning. The RPF SI admit card 2025 has been released. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) issued the admit cards of the RPF SI exam on their respective websites. Candidates needed to visit the official RRB website of their respective region to download the RPF SI admit card. RRB ALP application fee is INR 500 for General and OBC categories while it is INR 250 for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward class. The application fee will be refunded to candidates after appearing in the first stage CBT. Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories will get a partial refund of the application fee while SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/ Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward class will get a full refund of the application form. The fee refund process for RPF SI exam is given below:
- All candidates must clearly mention the bank details (Name of Bank, Name of Account Holder, Account Number and IFSC Code) for receiving the refundable portion of their examination fee (i.e., INR 400 or 250 as applicable minus bank charges) in their application form
- The responsibility for furnishing correct bank account details lies on the candidates and RRBs does not entertain any correspondence from candidates on this ground
- There is no refund of examination fee for erroneous, incomplete or rejected applications
