Saveetha School of Engineering is one of the institutions under Saveetha University. In general, it falls under Tier 2. It is a private engineering college affiliated to Anna University. It has always been known for its infrastructure and various courses. Even though the college provides good placement opportunities by companies like Berger Paints and SAP, it does not fit into Tier 1. It does not come under IIT or NIT as well. Saveetha Engineering College stood at a respectable 124th rank in the NIRF 2019 ranking, thereby further validating this institution being classified as a Tier 2.
