Science Eligibility

The eligibility criteria of KVS TGT for Social Studies is given below. Educational qualifications : (a) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Or
Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. The elective subjects and languages in the combination of subjects are as under:
Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and political. Science of which one must be either History or Geography. B) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised University
c) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. D) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. So from above CTET Paper-II is essential for KVS TGT.

The eligibility criteria of CSIR UGC NET M.Sc. Or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/ BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (your) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. Candidates possessing only Bachelors degree are eligible to apply only for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS). Age criteria for JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years {upper age limit may be relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PwD)/ female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) applicants}. So from above you are eligible for JRF only not for Lectureship (LS).
