HUB recommends students to not transfer money before signing the housing contract as sometimes they can be offered flats that don't even exist. The narrative is usually that the landlord is out of country and has commissioned a trust company to manage the flat. If requested to transfer a partifal amount with a promise of return, do not send the same. Only use the sources mentioned by the university.
