Academics and work experience are not considered for declaring shortlists for WAT/PI. WAT/PI calls are given based on the CAT score only.

SJMSOM considers only CAT percentile for admission to Masters of Management program.

The overall fees for Master of Management program at SJMSOM is around Rs.9 lakhs.

The impact of Academics and Work experience on final placements depend on the company shortlisting policies and not on the institute. If shortlisted for a company, interviews and group discussions(if any) are the major factors that would be taken into consideration for final selection.

As per this year's admission criteria, a four year Bachelor Degree or a Masters Degree in any discipline with first class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 for SC/ST) out of 10 is required.

The initial shortlists are based only on CAT percentile. Profile and acads are considered after the WAT/PI to prepare the final shortlists.

SJMSOM has active student exchange and study tour programs. We have tie-ups with University College London, Telecom Ecole de Management University, Paris and various other institutes across Europe. Duration for the study tours and student exchange is usually around 3-4 weeks, however it may vary from year to year.

The CAT cut-off percentile for this year's admission was around 98. However, the cut-offs vary each year and depend upon the candidates who apply and various other factors.

You will be given proper guidance as well as preparatory material well before your joining date once you convert and accept the offer for admission to SJMSOM.

SJMSOM does not officially disclose cut off cat percentile for admissions. However, you can visit various forums to get an idea about the cut off.
The cut off for general category varies from 97 to 98 percentile depending upon the applications received each year.
