Whether you want to consider this college or no is left to you. All I can say is that the learning experience and curriculum here at SDMIMD is comparable to any of the premium B schools in India. SDMIMD is also about to get an International accreditation soon which will put SDMIMD on the global map.
People with good GPA get placed without any glitches, people with poor GPA are obviously not placed.
Average package for 2015 was 5.8 LPA and in 2016 it is considerably more than the previous year, the figures will be revealed in the placement report.

65 % is the eligibility criteria for placements , but if you have relevant work experience and a good GPA in PGDM then that can be negotiated with the companies coming for placements.

You will get a call ,as you have 28 months experience and at SDMIMD we look for people with good profile and not base the selection solely on the competitive examination score.

Even though your CMAT score is below the cut off ,you have a good chance because you have 28 months experience.
Apply before Feb 15th , the PI will be in between March and April.

That was for the year 2013-15. The average package for the current year has increased. And plus the previous batch had very less number of people with work experience, hence a lower average salary number.

6 LPA is the minimum package, micro finance companies, banks and companies with openings for financial analysts come for placements. I will not be able to reveal the names of the companies and you'll have to wait for the official placement report.

I'm afraid that your chances are bleak because of your CMAT scores and also as you have less than 65% in graduation.
