The process to apply to Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (Sir MVIT) Bangalore is done through the KCET process (for Karnataka students), COMED-K (which is open to all students), or there is the Management quota. All students must qualify by completing the eligibility of 10+2 with minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either the JEE Mains or the MHT CET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

Yes you can get admission into Sir Visvesvaraya institute of technology without MH -CET by securing good rank in either JEE COMEDK UGET or KCET or via management quota only if you meet the PCM eligibility and can pay higher fees .

Yes, you can get direct admission in Sir Visvesvaraya institute of technology through a management quota for its undergraduate (BE) courses but only if you fulfil the eligibility requirements . The management quota takes up to 25% of the total seats and if students wish to apply through the management quota they need to apply directly to the college.

No, sir Visvesvaraya institute of technology does not give 100% scholarships but there are some incentives for students with low family income in Karnataka might recieve upto 20k per year . There are also scholarship offers for students who perform exceptionally in academics.

The facilities are decent. Separate hostel accomodation for both boys and girls, canteen, sports ground, indoor games, gym, accessible and resourceful library, modern classroom with well-equipped laboratories, high-speed internet wifi, medical room, and emergency hospital access, ATM facility by HDFC bank along with transportation facilities.
