The IIT, SONEPAT Institute offers only B.Tech. Courses for which many placements are offered with a the highest salary package of INR 40 LPA.

IIT, Sonepat offers undergraduate courses in the discipline of engineering. Admission to the courses is done on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main. Last year, the opening rank for B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering was 13184 and the closing rank was 17148. IIIT Sonepatl course admission is entirely entrance-based. However, before applying for the exam candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria as per the IIIT Sonepat admission guidelines. Candidates must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject. Aspirants must have got a minimum of 75% aggregate marks or 65% for SC/ST candidates to apply for BTech at IIIT Sonepat.

IIIT Sonepat offers BTech in CSE and IT specialisations. Graduates from BTech have various career opportunities in software development, data analysis, and cybersecurity. Graduates are being recruited by top companies such as Microsoft, PhonePe, Flipkart, Navi Technologies, etc. The highest package offered during placements was INR 44 LPA. The average package was INR 12 LPA.

IIIT Sonepat offers admission to BTech based on JEE Main exam followed by JoSAA Counseling. The seat allocation is done based on JEE Main score of the candidates and availability of seats.
