Yes, why not! For Diploma Students there are separate process of admission into direct second year(DSY) of engineering. According to your Diploma marks and respective cutoff for a particular branch, you can apply through multiple CAP rounds in Maharashtra State. Branch is not barrier here, you can apply for any branch irrespective of which branch you are currently studying in your Diploma.

SIES Graduate School of technology is a premier institute which provide various courses related to engineering. According to the latest cutoff of MHT CET of year 2022, cutoff for mechanical engineering (automobile) are as follows:
for home university students
Gopenh:77.355 percentile Lopenh :45.172 percentile
other than home university students:
gopeno:25.2726 percentile.

With 86 percentile, you won't be able to get CSE in IIIT. Still you can get some government colleges of your state.
