The cutoffs for admission to B.Tech at SRM Valliammai Engineering College varies from year to year as per the seat allocation and course opted. According to the SRM Valliammai Engineering College BTech cut off 2023, the TNEA Last Round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 16878, respectively for the General All India category students. Thus, it can be said that the minimum cutoff required for B.Tech at SRM Valliammai Engineering College is atleast a rank of 16878.

No, SRM University Vadapalani is not the  best in Chennai.

SRM University's Vadapalani campus is certainly one of the best private engineering colleges in Chennai, but academic rigor and excellence are still led by government colleges like CEG Anna University and research-focused universities like IIT Madras,  even though SRM Vadapalani excels in infrastructure and placements.
