No, ACT does not refund the exam fee as the fee is generally non-refundable. The ACT exam fee for Indian and all other non-US students is USD 186.50 in 2025 (including only English, Reading and Maths sections).

For the admission cycle of 2024-25. Vanderbilt University received over 8,300 applications from prospective international students, of which the university offered the opportunity to enroll at the Vanderbilt campus to about 360 students. Yes, but only for the Math section. You can't use it for Science. Make sure your gadget is on the approved list, like a TI-84. The test center wont give you one. If the battery dies, that is your problem. Bring a backup. It helps with difficult calculations but you don't need it for everything.
