A respectable GRE score is typically considered to be 310+. In this score range, you can target a wide range of reputable universities. Your overall GRE score will be between 260 and 340, which includes the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections. Score of Analytical Writting section is not included in the combined GRE score. If your score is 4.5+ in AWA then it's a good score.

Yes, international students at Bristol University UK can work part-time while studying. However, there are some restrictions for this. Students can work up to 20 hours per week during the term time. This 20-hour work limit applies to all jobs, including unpaid / voluntary work. Note that the university's temporary staffing service guidelines recommend only 15 hours per-week, during term time. Also, volunteering is not subject to the 20-hour time limit. A few examples of the part-time jobs on campus are:

  • PG Student Ambassadors
  • Global Lounge Ambassador
  • Teaching support roles

While there is a huge availability of SAT prep resources online, and offline as well it is up to the applicants to choose which one suits them the best. Irrespective of their choice of study, applicants must remember the recommendations for SAT books that come from College Board and also check out Khan Academy which is the official SAT prep partner before appearing for the SAT exam.

There are additional resources for SAT prep available online and offline. One must attempt free mocks on Bluebook App after SAT registration. For the reading and writing section, applicants can pick up any resource material but for Math working out through old textbooks can prove beneficial.

Only The Official Digital SAT Study Guide is the best SAT book for beginners. This is because,

  1. It has been recommended by College Board (SAT exam administrator)
  2. For new applicants understanding everything about SAT exam can be overwhekming, but this book will systematically help applicants in SAT preparation.
  3. Also this book includes targetted questions for both sections, topic-wise, which could be helpful.
  4. This book is available as hard copy and not a soft copy, thus, using the traditional method of SAT exam prep will prove beneficial.
  5. Finally, applicants can order this SAT book from College Board website at $34.99.
