As per the COE TIEE eligibility criteria, candidates must have:

• Obtained minimum of 60% in their class 12th board examination.
• appeared in any of the recognised boards except for National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)’s wherein, students will be allowed based on University's discreation.
• The subjects that the student has selected should be in line with the requirement of the program he/she has applied for. 

Candidates will have to write Statement of Purpose (SOP) in about 250 words for admission to TransStadia University. Candidates must compulsorily submit the SOP along with the COE TIEE application form 2025. Candidates must note that SOP must be original and must highlight the purpose of study at TSU and candidate's own individual story, goals, interests and career parths. The essay will be considered for shortlisting candidates for personal interview round.

The university merit scholarships are renewable for four years provided that the undergraduate students maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 each year.

Undergraduate students pursuing majors in Journalism at Mercer University are eligible for the Media Changemaker Scholarship. The Scholarship involves the full tuition fee of the student. It is renewable for 4 years provided that the student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0 each year to continue to stay eligible for the scholarship.

Undergraduate students who are pursuing courses in the following colleges at Mercer University namely, College of Education, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, School of Business, and College of Health Professions are eligible for the Dean’s Scholarship. The selected group of students will also be considered for full-tuition academic scholarships. Undergraduate students who are accepted to the School of Music are further eligible for additional scholarships by participating in a music audition.
