Housing at NJCU is available for international students. While living on-campus, students can experience their campus life, meet new people, and learn in a multicultural environment outside the classroom. The housing options available for students are Vodra Hall and West Campus Hall. There is a mandatory meal plan that will be included in the living costs of students. For Vodra Hall, the living cost is USD 7,300 whereas, for West Campus Hall, the living cost is USD 8,200.

Also, in addition to the main campus, the university has been expanded across the state of New Jersey to various other locations. A few sources have mentioned that New Jersey City University tuition fee is around USD 24,000 for out-of-state students. This amount is around INR 20 lakh. As per Shiksha Study abroad, the tuition fees is around INR 17 Lacs – INR 25 lakh. The housing rates for international students for the academic year 2023-24 are given below:

Some of the tips for students starting their first-semester at the  University of California Merced are:

  • Students who applied for UC Merced must be humble and should interact with as many people as possible. Mainly beacause, the more people you talk to the better knowledge you get. 
  • Attend as many gathering and parties as much as you can. 
  • Applicants should avoid missing classess, as 70% of learning comes from students going to classes. 
  • Students can get invovlved with extracuricular activities, i.e joing university clubs, sports etc. This will also look good on a portfolio in the longer run.
