The Southern Albert Institute of Technology offers on-campus accommodation facilities for in-state as well as international students. Living on in-campus facilities gives a student more exposure to the infrastructural facilities that are being offered by the university. It also helps the students to save time as no transportation will be required to reach the campus. Additionally, Students tend to feel safer while staying in on-campus facilities. 

Whereas living outside the campus can provide the student with a sense of more freedom and independence. The cost of living might also increase of living outside the campus. The average annual expense for a student studying at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology who chose to live outside campus would cost CAD 9000 (only rent). While the campus accommodation facilities will cost around CAD 6900, annually.

University of Brighton is classified to have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere according to their graduates and students get access to a very interesting social life as the location of the university's three beautifully built and welcoming campuses, namely: Moulsecoomb campus, Falmer campus and Eastbourne campus is very suitable. Some of the best things for University of Brighton's students to do on weekends are listed below:

• Visit outdoor places: Sussex country side is lovely. Beachy head on Eastbourne, Shoreham is another perfect location for a hangout. If a student likes horseracing, there is a horse track near the Brighton Marina. In this area of Brighton there is a big Asda, a cinema, and lots of restaurants as well;
• Gym: Gym membership is cheap for students and their is a swimming pool in Eastbourne facilities;
• Shopping: For streetshopping, Brighton has small shops, the lanes have a lot of street shops and students will enjoy exploring these;
• Night clubs and theaters: Nightlife is amazing in Brighton there is always something to do. Students must visit night clubs and theaters in town as they're really good according to the graduates;
• Visit Lewes town: Lewes town is only 15mn away by bus and a lovely town to visit. It possesses good atmosphere and lots of shops as well as history. It's a must visit place.

University of Brighton comprises of three beautifully built and welcoming campuses, namely:

Moulsecoomb Campus: Moulsecoomb campus is Brighton University's the biggest campus and student village. It is home to School of Business and Law, School of Architecture, Technology and Engineering, School of Applied Sciences and part of School of Art and Media. Over 900 students live on campus in residence halls, Moulsecoomb Place and the new Mithras halls – Brunswick, Goldstone, Hanover, Preston and Regency. Moulsecoomb is two miles north of Brighton city centre. The campus has excellent travel links with Moulsecoomb train station just next door, frequent bus services and cycle lanes.

Falmer Campus: Falmer campus is around four miles from Brighton city centre is home to School of Education, part of School of Sport and Health Sciences and part of School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Here, students can find two halls of residence, as well as the library, restaurant, cafes, and a students' union shop and bar. More than 600 students live in halls of residence on this campus and a number of areas of Brighton popular with students are just a short cycle or bus ride away. These include Moulsecoomb, Bevendean, Hollingbury, Elm Grove and other suburbs that stretch up the hills on either side of the Lewes Road.

Falmer has a floodlit astroturf football pitch, netball and tennis courts, a sports centre with a fitness suite, two activity studios and a sports hall with six badminton courts. Beyond the campus, students can find teams for almost every sport, from beach volleyball to touch rugby. The campus is right next to Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium.

Eastbourne Campus: Eastbourne campus is just a mile from the town centre and even closer to the seafront. The Welkin halls of residence is home to more than 350 students. On campus there is a 25-metre swimming pool, sports hall, gym, artificial outdoor pitch and dance studio. University of Brighton's students take advantage of being close to the sea and the South Downs, exploring them on foot or by bike.
