If your question is about SIBM-Pune, I would like to inform that this institute offers only MBA programmes. Kindly see this link- https://www.sibm.edu/
Also, specify if you want to know about some other college's exam.

Hi Anshul,
There are no branch-wise cutoffs in admissions of SIT during the counselling. You need to be physically present during the counselling as it is possible that the people who had a higher score in JEE Mains have usually secured a seat in some government college such as IITs or NITs and do not come for the counselling process of SIT. Hence, even if you have scored average in JEE Mains, there is a possibility of securing seats in the branch you desire.

There is no branch-wise cut-off. All the candidates can attend the counseling. In such counseling, where a candidate has to be physically present, sometimes many top rankers do not turn up. Some others are interested in a particular branch and the moment the seats of that branch are filled up, they leave. If you have a high score you stand a good chance to get a seat. If your rank is lower than that, you can still hope to get a seat. For this purpose you can apply for the waiting list by filling up the form and depositing Rs.1,00000/- by bank draft. As and when a seat falls vacant, this will be filled up from the waiting list.

First things first: Please get this straight that admission to NITs and IIITs is nowhere related to JEE Advanced score. Hence, if you are targeting NITs or IIITs for any of the engineering branch, do not fret about your JEE advanced score. Admission to NITs and IIITs is based solely on your JEE Mains score. And, a minimum percentage of 75% is required in 12th boards.
Here is how it works: You will be admitted into an NIT through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) on the basis of your JEE mains score. An All India Rank is given to the candidate based on his
