You can change your branch in the 2nd year subject to rules and regulations of the university. You can change the engineering college but it's a difficult process. SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test ) is a common written test for the admission process of undergraduate Institutes SET is a mandatory written test for the process for the undergraduate programmes.

Quite good, but you can find better colleges for engineering other than Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I would recommend, you should apply for other colleges if you have a good score.
