The PTET cut-off is the minimum marks which is required to qualify in the counselling. The cut-off depends on factors such as:

• Number of candidates appearing for the exam.
• Difficulty level of the paper.
• Total number of available seats.
• Reservation criteria for different categories.

The PTET cut-off varies as per the different colleges, and candidates must check the previous years' trends to estimate their chances of admission.

The PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test) 2025 was conducted on June 15, 2025, with admit cards were released earlier on June 9, 2025. The application window remained open from March 6 to May 1, 2025. Following the exam, the provisional answer key was released on June 19, 2025. Candidates must keep checking the official website regularly for updates and any changes in the schedule.

As per the PTET marking scheme 3 marks is granted for each correct answer, with no negative marking. The total marks for the exam is 600, derived from 200 questions. However, the Teaching Attitude & Aptitude section has a scaled marking system, ranging from 3 to 0 marks per question. 

To fill the RIE CEE application form, candidates need to arrange the following documents along with the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

• Mark sheets and certificates of 10th, 12th, and graduation.
• Proof of domicile for candidates applying under state quota.
• Caste certificate (if applicable).
• Income certificate for fee relaxation (if applicable).
• Valid ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport.

The Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Examination (RIE CEE) 2025 registration process began on May 29, 2025. The last date to apply was June 20, 2025. The RIE CEE 2025 admit card was released from July 10 till July 13, and the entrance exam was scheduled on July 13, 2025. Candidates must check the official website regularly for updates and any changes in the schedule. Late application submission with a fine is also generally allowed.

Candidates who fulfill the Jharkhand TET eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. The JTET eligiblity comprises educational qualification and age limit. Have a look at the basic JTET eligibility criteria in term of educational qualification and age limit for Paper 1 and Paper 2 below:

• For Jharkhand TET Paper 1, candidates need to be Class 12 pass and two-year DEd/ DSE in Special Education in any category of disability
• For Jharkhand TET Paper 2, candidates need to be Graduate or equivalent and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• The minimum JTET age limit is 21 years and there is no upper age limit.

Yes, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) cancelled the Jharkhand TET 2024 exam earlier due to amendments in the existing JTET Examination Rules 2019. The new JTET notification will soon be available. The JTET application form will be released along with the notification on the official website of the exam.
