As per the CTET 2026 analysis and as per the experts, the most difficult section of the CTET exam is generally Paper 2 Maths and Science or Social Science section. Because of its vast syllabus and the difficulty level was Moderate. Also, some of the questions asked in the application-based Child Development and Pedagogy was also seen a bit difficult.

Yes, it is mandatory to apply for the CTET exam before the application deadline ends. Candidates who want to sit in the CTET exam need to fill the application form online as per the deadline mentioned. After that, candidate will not be able to fill the form and also will not be able to sit in the exam.

The CTET syllabus consists of the detailed topics that needs to be covered in both Papers namely Paper 1 and 2. The Central Eligibility Test is conducted twice every year. The exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 is for the candidates who are aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8.

The CTET exam consists of two papers namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET exam is conducted on an offline mode. Both the papers consists of 150 questions asked in the form of MCQs. For each correct answer, one mark is awarded and for every wrong answer no mark is deducted. As there is no negative marking in the examination.

It only mentions the name of a city allotted to the candidate for the examination so that they can make their travel arrangements in advance.

The CBSE released the CTET application form 2026 for the February session on November 27. The last date to apply was December 18. The last date to submit the fee was also December 18. The CTET exam for the 21st Edition was conducted on February 7 and 8.

The CTET city slip or city intimation slip consists of the details about the exam city in advance so that candidates can make their travel arrangements accordingly. Details mentioned on the city slip are the name of the candidate, photograph, signature, application number, paper applied for, date of an exam, allotted city, etc.

The CBSE will release the CTET admit card for the September session areound three or four days prior to the examination date on the official website at ctet.nic.in. The exam is schedule to be conducted on September 6, 2026. Candidates are required to download the hall ticket with the help of the application number and password.
