I would refer you Haldia for mechanical because it has industrial exposure for core engineering departments whereas Techno does not provide such facilities.

Yes, there is.
The admission is done through JELET.
Other eligibility criteria:
Candidate having passed diploma with at least 60% marks from recognized university.
And the Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET).
Vacant seats will be filled through management quota based on marks obtained in diploma.

BCA is a highly specialized course, and one of the top most trending courses.
The fees for this course varies from college to college or university to university.
The average tuition fee for BCA Course in India ranges from INR 1.5 Lacs to INR 6 Lacs for three years.

According to the college, candidate having passed Diploma with at least 60% marks from recognized university are eligible to get admission in Techno India University.
