Data Science is an inter-disciplinary field that deals with extracting knowledge and insights from various forms of data and involves applying theories and methods from a multitude of disciplines like computer science, data mining, signal processing, mathematics, statistics & probability, operations research, machine learning, statistical learning, data compression, data warehousing, data engineering, pattern recognition, visualization, predictive analytics, computer programming, artificial intelligence and high performance computing.
Students having skills in data analytics have a very bright chance of making a very rewarding career in many industry sectors with the largest of MNC and Indian companies.
Eligibility Requirements
(A) Candidates must satisfy ANY ONE of the following qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech. in any discipline
M.E. / M.Tech. in any discipline
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Physics / Economics / Commerce
Master's Degree or PG Diploma in Computer Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Physics / Economics / Commerce
Pursuing 3rd or 4th year B.E. / B. Tech. in any discipline
Admission Process
Admission to the course will be based on the performance in an admission test to be held for this program - TIU-IIQF Quantitative Aptitude Test (TIU-IIQF QAT) and a Personal Interview.
The admission test will assess the competency level of the candidate in the following subjects:
Mathematics
Logical Reasoning
so if you have maths then only you can go for it.
