According to the University of Hyderabad cutoff for Round 6 in 2023, the closing scores for all M.Tech specialisations ranged between 352 and 398. The most competitive specialisation has been M.Tech. in Information Technology with a closing score of 398, followed by M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI Design with 360 score. IHM has a good percentage rate of placement around 98%

As per the IHM Hyderabad placement data for the year 2019-2020, 45% of the total appeared candidates were placed in the Hotel Industry,  27% in the restaurants/QSR,  16% were placed in the Apparel and Fashion organisations,  8% in the facility management, while 2% were placed in both Airlines and Revenue Management companies.

Procedure to get admission into the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Hyderabad for a B.Sc i, you must: 
  1. Fill out the NCHM JEE application form.
  2. Secure a valid score on the NCHMCT JEE.
  3. Appear for the Centralized Counselling process.
  4. Select IHM Hyderabad during the counselling process.
The NCHMCT JEE is held every year in April. You can register for the exam on the nchmct official website. 
The admission process is based on the rank obtained in the NCHMCT JEE. The 2023 cutoff by rank was 9125.

No, you can join the Institute of Hotel Management Hyderabad directly. You are provided with admission based upon marks scored in National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination; qualify yourself for NCHMCT JEE; thus, you must appear to take admission in IHM Hyderabad.

To be eligible for the B.Sc. (Hospitality Management) course at the Institute of Hotel Management Hyderabad, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, English must have been a subject of study in the qualifying examination.

Admission to this institute is entrance as well as merit-based. IHM Hyderabad accepts NCHMCT JEE and NCHMCT MSc JEE score for admission to BSc and MSc course, respectively.
