 Admission Process

 Admission Rules for IIMs

• Mandatory Exams: Admission to IIMs requires CAT (for MBA/PGP) or IPMAT (for Integrated BBA+MBA at Indore, Rohtak, etc.).
• No Direct Admission: You cannot join an IIM without appearing for these exams, regardless of your Class 12 marks (73% in your case).
• Mid-Year Entry: IIMs do not allow mid-year or direct entry; admissions are strictly through entrance exams and counseling.

 Alternatives in Hyderabad (Mid-2026)

Since you don't want to waste the year, you can consider:

• ICFAI Business School (IBS Hyderabad): Offers BBA, MBA, and law programs with its own entrance test or direct admission based on Class 12 marks.
• NALSAR University (for law + management electives).
• Private Universities: Amity, GITAM, and Symbiosis Hyderabad offer BBA/LLB/MBA programs with direct admission based on Class 12 marks.
