Below is the application process for Temple University:

For Undergraduate courses: 

Step 1: You can apply through common applicants

Step 2: Go to the website and select the course you are interested in

Step 3: Make sure you meet the Entry requirements (Such as Academic qualifications and English proficiency etc.)

Step 4: Once you decide on the course, submit the required documents such as SOP, Transcripts and personal statements

Step 5: You can track the application's progress through the email or by checking the common  portal

Step 6: After you apply, you will get an automated email from the university that they have received your application

Postgraduate Application Process 

Step 1: Select the postgraduate programme you are interested in from the Temple University website

Step 2: Ensure you meet the entry requirements for the chosen program, as these vary depending on the course

Step 3: Complete the online application providing your personal information

Step 4: Upload the required documents, such as academic transcripts, proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS), experience in your field and references

Step 5: After you apply, you will get an automated email from the university that they have received your application

Step 6: If your application is successful, you will receive an offer from Temple University.

Below are the Temple University requirements for international students:

Undergraduate requirements: 

• Application Fee or fee waiver: Applicants must pay a USD 55 application fee through the common application or coalition Application website. However, applicants using these platforms can request a fee waiver. You can check out how you can waive application fees)

• Two LORs: Applicants should obtain recommendations from two teachers who have taught them core academic subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, or social studies. 

• Transcripts:  the applicant should submit the school report and the official transcript, including all secondary school courses. 

• Standardised Test Results: Temple University has a long test-optional policy for the 2024 admission cycle. That means that applicants for UG admissions for fall 2024 enrollment can choose to apply with or without submitting ACT or SAT scores. The university has mentioned that there is no minimum score required for admission, Nor is there a score that will guarantee admission. However, checking their official website for an even better understanding is suggested. 

• English Proficiency exams: 

1. TOEFL iBT: 79 score is required

2. TOEFL Essentials : 8.5 is required

3. IELTS or IELTS Indicator: 6:0 is required

4. PTE Academic: 53 is required

5. ITEP Academic Plus: 3.9 is required

6. Duolingo: 110 is required

Graduate requirements:

You will need to provide the following with your application for admission: 

• A statement of academic purpose (SOP) is required with a 500 to 1,000 words which shoul focus on past academic achievements, as well as what you hope to accomplish during your time at Temple University. 

• Applicants must have a list of all their prior colleges or universities, accompanied by unofficial transcripts from each school. However, unofficial transcripts should be uploaded with the applicant's application.

• letters of recommendation, Applicants must enter the names of their recommender directly in the application, and they will receive a link to upload a letter on the applicant's behalf. ( Check the university as it provides a separate template in which applicants need to follow)

• Applicants must submit their Resumes and CV 

• A USD 60 application fee for PG applicants

• A standardised test, although the graduate school does not have tests minimum for admission, individual departments may have minimum requirements. However, they need to give IELTS or TOEFL if the applicant is from a non-English speaking native country. However, there are other standardised examinations, such as GRE and GMAT, which are compulsory, however, might vary depending on the course the applicant chooses.
