Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) Kolkata is a well-regarded engineering college in Kolkata. It is accredited by NAAC and NBA and is approved by the AICTE. To promote and coordinate numerous co-curricular activities, there is an elected Students' Council made up of subcommittees such Cultural, Academic, Magazine, Games, and Sports as well as various Clubs. Both the Annual Technical Fest (DAKSHH) and the Annual Cultural Festival (ECLECIA) are organised with much pomp.
