Very important question for students, There are many general awareness books but what I'll suggest is keep reading News Paper that too TOI or ET only. Also you can download their apps on your smart phone which actually help a lot. It gives you frequent news notification and if you read the headline also then it remains in your mind.
Apart from that, you can read blogs as well for GA.

Hi,
Heres the eligibility criteria for TISSNET 2018:
a) Candidates with Bachelor's degree (minimum of three years duration) or equivalent from a recognised university are eligible to apply.
b) At the time of applying, candidates studying in three-year degree programmes should have passed all subjects from first to fourth semesters; while candidates studying in four-year degree programmes should have passed in all subjects for first to sixth semester.
